The game controller in control panel did recognise the full rotation and all the pedals and buttons etc. The new LGS did not recognise the G25 and the profiler was no longer running. So I decided to uninstall the old version. The latest version uses a different folder to the previous, so it did not overwrite the early version like before. It seems I had 2 versions of the Logitech software running/installed.

I updated to the new anniversary version of Windows 10 (like the updates to start menu and MS Edge. It does, the profiler and game controller aplet now show the G25, and all works fine so long as it is plugged intot he USB 3 port. Next job was to plug the wheel in and see it is works. The app also works with AC and a couple of other games. Started iRacing (with mouse set as controller) and the tablet displayed the game info. Started the app up without my wheel plugged in (the new LGS runs without anything plugged in) and the tablet showed the GPU & CPU info. I downloaded the latest version LGS_8.87.116_圆4_Logitech. It found my PC but did not conect as it needed a newer version of LGS.

I downloaded the app onto my old android tablet and started it up. Recently I got a message from iRacing about the new Logitech ARX app that allows a smart phone or tablet to be used as an extra screen either showing GPU & CPU info or ingame infor such as revs, gear lap times etc. I can't remember is I tried the USB 3 with the more recent LGS. It reverts to a generic wheel when used with the other USB port (1 or 2, not sure). I have had to plug the wheel into the USB 3 port for it to be recognised as a G25. I have been using lgs510_圆4 since I had problems after updating to wondows 10. I have a G25, but AFAIK it has the same problems. Just thought I would add something I have discovered. Open the "Devices and Printers" section of Windows and check if the G27 Racing Wheel is properly detected. removing the detection for games at startup) (The reconfigure the profiler if necessary, e.g. Plug the G27 wheel in a direct USB 2.0 port. Reinstall the Logitech Gaming Software v.5.10.127 Close the Device Manager and unplug the G27 Racing Wheel. Do the same thing for the entry "Logitech Driving Force EX USB (HID)". Right-click on the "Logitech Driving Force EX USB" or any other "Logitech" related entries and select "Uninstall". Expand the collapsible tree for "Human Interface devices". Open Device Manager (Control Panel > System and Security > System > Device Manager). Uninstall the Logitech Gaming Software v.5.10 (Logitech Profiler). The solution, I've just tried and got working (don't know how long it will last until W10 ruins it again), is to:

It seems some update within W10 ruins the config of the wheel. I the Checked the web and found a posible reason to all of this. Also the led at the gear lever remained off instead of lit.Īfter checking the hardware was fine, wires and no bad connections I checked windows config and found that it was not detecting the wheel as a Logitech G27 but as "Logitech Driving Force USB" (in my case). Not only that, it was as if windows wanted to detect the wheel but couldn't (wheel doing it's auto diagnosis moving right and left but stopping sooner than normally). Everything went fine after right today when I entered Steam and rFactor2 the wheel wasn't being detected. I updated from W7 to W10 this past weekend.
